Anyone got a view of that day from a palace perspective?
You brought a decent mob up that day. Just reminiscing over old times...

R&R That was a top day out, proper early start as it was a 1.30 ko, 2 pitch invasions and it kicked off after the game next to the coaches, we ran about 25 of you after a few skirmishes same location although i remember you disagreeing at the time, you did have a few game fuckers at the front but we backed you off and then ran you before the o/b came with the horses to split it all up Didn't you have a few Oldham with you the big lad at the front of your lot was on the tv a few year back wasn't he? Yeh Oldham do run with us occasionally and a few stockport lads guest at their games as well. I don't remember an Oldham lad being at the front but it could well have been.
Big turn out from you lot, but that's to be expected with it being such a massive game for you - didn't really matter to us much.
Think your boys got a bit over excited when they got on the pitch...just as well we couldn't get on as well or else there would have been a few banning orders dished out for that.
We numbered 40-50 in total and saw about 80 of your lot. Got a bit lively by the Robert Peel as well if memory serves me well.
A pretty impressive mob I thought - which (no disrespect) i wasn't really expecting as amongst the London teams palace dont really have the reputation of Millwall, West Ham, Chelsea & Spurs.

Yeah we hoped to get you lot in the cup the following season but it never happened,we had a few fellas that used to come up your neck of the woods at weekends but i dont think they were too welcome for a while after that. The big lad at the front was mf i think?an oldham lad!, we can pull decent numbers for the big games fella and that was a massive game for us,we would probably have bought more on a saturday but still took a decent mob, i thought you were gonna get on the pitch at the end of the game but as you say it would have lead to a few banning orders being live on sky lol R & R
